About Us

Aqualogy Bioremedics has been evolving for many decades, born of an idea to protect the environment with clean wastewater. In our present circumstances of scarcity, clean wastewater is valuable. Cleaning wastewater capable of being reused to its highest and best use is our goal. Along the way, if we can protect water environments and create more comfortable habitations, we have accomplished what we set out to do.

Mr. Tom Rothweiler has been involved with the environment in one way or another since a child. One of his first jobs after college involved an region-wide water quality program of the US Environmental Protection Agency beginning in the late 1970s.

WHAT WE ARE DOING

Odor Reduction

Odor Reduction

Odor reduction is a byproduct of controlling the create and the nature of the degradation. Many odors are a result of decomposition, usually done in a way that nature does it. Selecting specific bacteria that can biodigest organic matter and minimize or eliminate certain byproducts reduces odors. And odor reduction is also a result of maximizing the degradation process.

Odor Reduction

Reduced Pumping of Solids

A more thorough and rapid degradation process reduces solids to the molecular level. Water is separated fro the solids and percolates away. The amount of solids is reduced and builds up more slowly. The time intervals between pumping of septic tanks can be increased, with perhaps significant savings.

Environmental Protection

If water is the principal byproduct of enhanced bioreduction, cleaner water re-enters the environment, whether as ground water or as surface water. At a fish hatchery on the Columbia River in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, water flowing down a fish ladder did not add excess nutrients into the river.

Waterwater Reuse

At a United Nations training facility in Africa water was needed to irrigate lawns and trees. Using existing potable water sour was not viable, so they opted to remediate septic tank effluent. Eventually it was discovered that the water could be treated to a level making it potable. Thus, a new water supply for crop irrigation, including food crops, was developed.
