Hyderabad Association is a not for profit organization with a vision of Bringing Hyderabadi Community together”, and open avenues for interaction and to reinforce and familiarize the present and the generation ahead with the rich Hyderabadi ethos, values and culture.

A large number of Hyderabadis of Indian origin, estimated to be about 40,000 live in Metropolitan city of Chicago and suburbs of Illinois, USA. Bringing together a large group of people is a challenging task.

Our aim is to bring Hyderabadis together and encourage them to compete in this modern world, and enhance personal and professional competence and avail themselves of the opportunities, not only in the Technological but also in other fields.

The success criteria will be, “to function in a democratic and professional manner free of any prejudice”, by exercising the valuable resources and efforts for the benefit of the community. Efficient utilization of skills and resources is an important factor. Achieving this task will be by breaking all barriers of backwardness and build bridges of development.

  • Charminar built by the fifth ruler of the Qutub Shahi dynasty Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah built the Charminar in 1591. After shifting his capital from Golconda to Hyderabad

  • Nawab Mir Sir Shujat Ali Khan Siddiqi Bayafendi Bahadur, KCIE. (December 21, 1907 – September 15, 1987) was the son of the last Nizam of Hyderabad, Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII and his first wife Dulhan Pasha Begum. He married Princess Niloufer (4 January 1916 – 12 June 1989), one of the last princesses of the Ottoman empire. He was a poetry enthusiast who had close ties with the poet Allama Najm Afandi after he moved from Agra to Hyderabad Deccan and Allama Nasar Zayed Puri who was from Zayed Pure.
